R&D at Ozitem focusses of 6 key areas:
Specific & bespoke development to respond to the needs of big business. STARCS, for example, is an innovative tool developed by our R&D department, making it possible to effectively manage workstation renewal processes. Touch4Help is another application allowing users to create alerts for VIP functions.
Overseeing your Internet services and business applications. Equipped with all the very best tools on the market, the team will support you in selecting the best solutions for your individual requirements. From technical monitoring to service barometers, the R&D department responds to every need related to the performance of your applications and their availability.
Our CI is configured mainly with the help of the Ansible solution. Developments in virtual machines, patches on our servers, backups and the centralisation of our configurations are just a few examples of initiatives led via Ansible.
Our big data solution
Our R&D team have selected the Splunk solution for their work around IT Analytics, as well as for producing IT dashboards and with information systems security.
End-user application solutions
We monitor your critical applications in order to align them with your IT services and business requirements. Solutions such as NewRelic and/or Newtest (IP Label) allow you to measure and verify whether your commitments to service in terms of IT and business are being achieved.
We use iTop, which allows us to successfully manage changes, incidents, user requests and services. This solution covers all ITIL processes and can be interfaced with your existing tools thanks to its integrated data synchronisation mechanism. The CMDB integrated within iTop is at the very heart of our information systems.
Our tools are configured from the information contained within the CMDB (new customers, automated deployment of a new server, automated implementation of various ways to monitor new equipment, etc.).
Some real R&D achievements
- Industrialisation of e-commerce infrastructure migration
(more than 8,000 sites, 16,000 email addresses, 12,000 DNS zones) without root access.
- Development of an orchestration API helping to manage PaaS infrastructure from a business back office.
- Development of a multi-screen and multi-profile service barometer (IT/business).
